Meet Samantha Grab

Samantha Grab grew up in a tiny town called Tivoli, located in New York’s Hudson Valley. As soon as she graduated from high school, she packed her car and drove down to Austin, Texas where she spent the next six years falling in love with country music, eating breakfast tacos, and learning the Texas two-step. 

The results of the 2000 presidential election motivated Sam to move back to a blue state, so she headed to Manhattan where she received her Master’s in Education from Bank Street College.  Sam has spent the bulk of her career in education as a teacher and school administrator. She is currently the Head of School at Weekday School in South Orange. She lives in Maplewood with her four children and two cats.
