Meet Christina Taber-Kewene

Christina Taber-Kewene is a mother of four children ages 8 to 16, wife to her better half, Manahi, and grateful 11-year Maplewood resident. She began her career in law after studying Philosophy and Religious Studies at Stanford University and earning a J.D. at Columbia University. After ten years of private practice in New York City and Europe, Christina reconnected with her first professional interest: working with teenagers. She now runs CTK College Coach, where she has the great pleasure of coaching high school students around the U.S. through their academic and life journey and on to their next step in life.

Christina never imagined herself as a writer, but after a lifetime of writing and editing in all her professional endeavors, she finds great joy in writing about parenthood, ethics, theology, and everything else she ruminates about on her long morning runs. She has published several personal essays in the Exponent 2 literary journal, the By Common Consent blog, the Exponent blog, and is excited for her first turn on the Listen to Your Mother stage with her esteemed co-writers.
