Meet Michele Giordano

MICHELE GIORDANO is a storyteller who found her voice in college, discovering that sharing lived experience can build community, spark change, and create space for healing. Her journey as a parent is rooted in her friendships and chosen family, who have shaped her as deeply as motherhood.

A proud Jersey girl, Michele lives in Maplewood with her wife Amanda, their two kids, and their sweet lab-mix, Licorice. She holds a Master’s in Social Work and brings this lens to her work and life. This is her Listen To Your Mother debut, and she proudly dedicates this piece to her wife and children—especially her son, who first made her a mother.
