Watching my friends perform in NYC clubs, such as CBGB's and ABC-No-Rio, had a massive effect on me.
I was driven to document the raw, energetic emotions in their performances. What started as simply snapping photos of friends' bands became a lifelong career.
My passion led me to a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts, where I immersed myself in the traditional crafts of studio lighting, film developing, and darkroom printing. After graduation, I traveled the world as a photographer’s assistant, working in fashion, commercial, and music photography with luminaries such as David Sims, Christian Witkin, Sarah A. Friedman, Gregory Heisler, Clay Patrick McBride, and Matt Mahaurin. This experience has given my work its diverse aesthetic.
I love telling stories and creating visual narratives through photography. Whether it's photographing the high spirits of a family, the love and elation of a child, a confident headshot, capturing an awe-inspiring event, or the raw energy of a band, my approach to every photo session is of top-notch experience, with meticulous attention to detail and care.
