Meet Thea Cogan-Drew

Thea Cogan-Drew is a Rhode Island native who has lived in eight other states and is on her second career (possibly third). She worked in photography and print design, then changed careers into healthcare to become a Physician Assistant (PA). She currently teaches PA Studies at Rutgers and practices at a free clinic in Plainfield, NJ. 

Thea is new to writing creatively. While she regularly lectures to twenty-something graduate students, her last time on a theatrical stage may have been Barrington Elementary School’s 1980 performance of “I Remember Mama” where she rocked the role of Mama. She is both excited and terrified to have the chance to perform with LTYM. She lives in Maplewood with two tall boys, a wonderful spouse, and one cute dog.
